We love mountain weddings. And Hawksdene House may be the epitome of an intimate mountain wedding venue. Nestled on 33 acres on Phillips Creek in Andrews, NC, Hawksdene House provided a glorious backdrop for Kristin and Bryan and despite the 92% chance of rain that was forecast, not a single drop fell while we were there. The beauty of nature was literally everywhere you looked but God’s handiwork couldn’t compared with Kristin’s smile which was absolutely radiant the entire day. After the ceremony, we were able to take the newlyweds up to the top of the mountain for some breathtaking shots, although I was a kind of hoping that ex-skydiver Kristin, might have impressed us all with a base jump. Maybe for their one-year anniversary. Our very best wishes to Kristin and Bryan for a lifetime of happiness and joy.
