There are few things that are more perfect than a gorgeous late summer Peninsula Club wedding. The afternoon sun gently drifting off behind the trees casting a golden shadow across Lake Norman, a stunning sunset followed by a clear, star-filled night and the amazing wedding of Amanda and Sean. Like I said, it really doesn’t get any better. Amanda and Sean live in the Netherlands and chose Lake Norman for their destination wedding and their day was filled with details that imbued an international flavor. The table markers were photos of Amanda and Sean in different cities and countries around the globe, and if memory serves me correctly, they had been… everywhere. Seriously, name a place you’d like to visit and chances are, Amanda and Sean had been there. But the highlight for us was seeing just how loved this couple was. They were surrounded by family and friends during the entire day and when Amanda turned to see herself in the mirror with her veil on, she cried happy tears of joy, and in the mirror right next to Amanda was her mom.
