There are couples you meet and almost from moment one, you know they’ll be friends for life. Yep, that’s Claire and Martin. Martin is from Denmark and Claire is from the good old U-S-of-A and their Queens University/Roof with a View wedding was, simply put, stunningly fabulous.

This international wedding on the Lawn of Queens University on a beautiful Friday afternoon in April was not only one of the most picturesque outdoor venues, but their first look was so touching. The groom’s family flew in from Denmark and though there were few language differences, you wouldn’t have known it by the end of the reception. One of the highlights of the reception was an interesting Danish tradition where the groom is held aloft by his groomsmen and the toes of his socks are cut off during the reception. Yeah, it really happened.
