Kristin and Steve may just be two of the awesomest people we’ve met and their Little Church on the Lane/Byron’s at South End affair was simply gorgeous and filled with joy. They met while in pharmacology school (that sounds much better than saying drug school 😉 and from their first date at the bowling alley on UNC’s campus they were destined to be together.

One of the things we love about weddings is seeing new traditions for the first time.  And this wedding had two special moments. The first was an anniversary dance celebrating Kristin’s great grandparents 70th anniversary! The second sweet part of their wedding was the Kappa Psi Sweetheart song. After encircling Kristin and Steve while they danced to David Allen Coe’s ‘Perfect Country and Western Song’, the entire co-ed fraternity got down on one knee and serenaded the couple. It was touching and tender and it made me wish I had pledged when I was in college. Did I mention this was a co-ed fraternity?
