There’s elegant and then there’s E-L-E-G-A-N-T!!! Though both Ashley and Michael live in New York, Ashley’s family is from North Cack-a-lackey and they decided to bring a little taste of the Big Apple to North Carolina with a sophisticated affair at the most scrumptious Ballantyne Hotel. From the decor of the Grand Ballroom to the handmade cookies, to the sparkler send-off, no detail was overlooked. And to make the evening even more spectacular, the custom-designed Love Shutter sunset appeared right on cue for one of the most stunning ‘Dips’ we’ve ever seen. Props go out to the Father-of-the-bride for his hand in augmenting our reception lighting with his own specially-designed lighting. Major kudos to Sara Hall for corralling, cajoling and creating this fabulous evening, and the wonderful Alli and Erin at Ballantyne Hotel for always making it easy to do our best work.
