Briana has always felt the desire to express her creativity. Whether it was directing video productions, acting in musicals or winning the highest creative awards in college, Briana is a creative dynamo who never stops thinking of how to capture the best photographs possible on a wedding day. Briana received her BFA from Western Carolina University where she honed her photography skills and it was during those years that Love Shutter was born.
A bit more about Briana
Ten years after co-founding Love Shutter, principle photographer Briana feels she is blessed to have found not only a passion in her career so early in life, but a fresh way to see the world around her through the viewfinder of a camera. When she’s not hiding behind a camera, Briana can be found Facetiming her niece and nephew, engulfed in crafting projects, thrifting for vintage finds, fostering neonatal orphan kittens, and spending time with her close-knit family.
Likes: Her niece and nephew, her two feline fur babies, warm and gooey chocolate chip oatmeal cookies, afternoon naps, the Office, and Harry Potter
Dislikes: Waking up early, cheese, and flying bugs that sting.
Favorite movie: Now and Then, Princess Bride, Amélie
Favorite band: Lights and Motion, Ingrid Michaleson
Little known fact: Briana was in a John Deere commercial when she was 3 years old.
Briana’s favorite part of the day: Capturing the raw emotion between the bride and groom during the first look and after they walk down the aisle for the first time as husband and wife.
